March 2025
During March at Tiger Cub Immersion School, students engaged in various spring-themed activities including germinating mung beans, painting a rose garden, and constructing bird feeders. They enhanced their language and math skills through reading, writing, and practical life exercises, and enjoyed outdoor activities such as soccer and kite flying.

February 2025
February at Tiger Cub Immersion School was dedicated to “Friendship.” Students explored what makes a good friend through stories and activities, creating friendship chains and valentines. The month also included celebrations of traditional Chinese holidays, such as the Lantern Festival and Lichun Festival, with corresponding crafts and activities.

January 2025
January at Tiger Cub Immersion School was centered on the theme of "Clothing." Students explored the history and function of various types of clothing through engaging stories and hands-on activities. As January also marked the Lunar New Year, we celebrated this festive season with traditional crafts, stories, and a joyful Chinese New Year Festival that brought families together for collaborative activities.

December 2024
December at Tiger Cub Immersion School was centered on the theme of "Winter." Students explored the winter season seasonal weather through a variety of media, including stories, crafts, and hands-on activities. As December is also a month of festivities, we learned about and celebrated the various holidays of the season, including the traditional Chinese festival of the Winter Solstice and, of course, Christmas. We ended the month with a joyful Holiday Party, bringing families together before bidding farewell to 2024.

November 2024
November at Tiger Cub Immersion School was filled with autumn exploration, from studying the transformations in leaves to exploring patterns of weather and learning about the traditions of celebrating harvest. We read stories, learned to sing many songs, and worked on many hands-on activities. We ended the month with a joyful Thanksgiving potluck that brought our school community together.

October 2024
October at Tiger Cub Immersion School was dedicated to exploring "Community Helpers," and students learned about the roles of teachers, firefighters, doctors, and other members of the community through various books and hands-on activities. October also brought festive celebrations for both the Double-Ninth Festival, where students learned about the festival’s traditions and significance, and Halloween, where they participated in our annual parade and trick-or-treating party.

September 2024
September at Tiger Cub Immersion School was a month of self-discovery as students explored the theme "All About Me." Through activities such drawing family portraits and sharing things about ourselves, students learned to celebrate their individuality. In addition, students learned about the Mid-Autumn Festival and had much fun crafting peper lanterns and making snowskin mooncakes.
