This May, students wrapped up our study of "Buildings" and set off into our final theme of the year, "Transportation." From constructing famous landmarks out of cardboard to sorting vehicles that travel by land, water, and sky, May was filled with engaging activities that nurtured curiosity, academic development, and cultural appreciation. Students strengthened their language, math, and problem-solving skills, and our community came together to honor the special people in our students' lives during our annual Mother's Day Breakfast and a heartfelt Teacher Appreciation Day.

This April, students explored the wonders of the natural world through our monthly theme of "Trees," learning about their characteristics, life cycles, and the many creatures that call them home. Hands-on activities in English, Chinese, and math nurtured foundational skills, while neighborhood walks, garden visits, and lively outdoor play deepened our connection to the world around us. We also celebrated a festive Easter Egg Hunt and embraced Earth Day with meaningful projects that inspired students to care for our planet through small, thoughtful actions every day!

This March, students embraced the wonders of spring through our monthly theme, observing nature's transformations on neighborhood walks and bringing the season to life with blossoming tree paintings, flower baskets, and coffee filter art projects. Hands-on activities in English and Chinese built language and early literacy skills, while soccer, yoga, and lively outdoor play nurtured coordination and teamwork. We also came together to celebrate the Lantern Festival and St. Patrick's Day this month, and we look forward to April's study of "Trees" and our annual Easter Egg Hunt!
