Welcome to our week of learning about "Things That Fly!" This week, we explored various vehicles that travel through the sky, as well as living creatures that fly, including birds, butterflies, and dragonflies. We crafted our own paper airplanes, helicopters, and kites, and made colorful butterfly collages, craft-stick dragonflies, and moth and ladybug creations. For our cooking activity, we prepared edible paints and used bread as our canvas for colorful designs.

Summer Camp Newsletter: Week 5 (7/20/2026 – 7/24/2026)

This week, we traveled Around the World as we explored different countries, cultures, and traditions through stories, art, and hands-on activities. We "visited" the United States, Egypt, China, France, Italy, Mexico, South Korea, and regions of Africa, making American flag collages, Egyptian paper puppets, Chinese lacquer fans, African tribal masks, and building the Eiffel Tower with blocks. For our cooking activity, we made dirt pudding cups with crumbled chocolate cookies, pudding, and gummy worms.

Summer Camp Newsletter: Week 4 (7/13/2026 – 7/17/2026)

This week, we dug even deeper into our study of dinosaurs and fossils! We stepped into the role of paleontologists by excavating "dinosaur bones" using chisels and brushes, made a variety of dinosaur-themed paintings, and experimented with a fizzing "dinosaur egg" baking soda and vinegar eruption. For our cooking activity, we made fruit salad with strawberries, blueberries, apples, bananas, and melons mixed with yogurt.
