Welcome to the first week of Summer Camp! This week, we dove into a study of water, exploring its different states, discussing the water cycle, and learning where water is found in our everyday lives through hands-on activities like water marbling, water cycle bags, and color mixing. For our cooking activity, we made refreshing ice pops with fresh watermelon and mango juice.
Day School Newsletter: June 2026
Published on 6/13/2026
This June, students wrapped up our final theme of the year, "Transportation," exploring vehicles that travel on land, in the air, and on water as they crafted boats, airplanes, and hot air balloons and learned about traffic rules and road safety. Hands-on activities, Chinese characters, and engaging stories nurtured their curiosity and academic growth, and we celebrated the Dragon Boat Festival together. We brought the year to a joyful close with our End-of-Year Celebration on June 13, honoring our students' performances and the graduation of those promoted to Kindergarten. Thank you to all our families for an amazing year—we wish you a wonderful summer!

This May, students wrapped up our study of "Buildings" and set off into our final theme of the year, "Transportation." From constructing famous landmarks out of cardboard to sorting vehicles that travel by land, water, and sky, May was filled with engaging activities that nurtured curiosity, academic development, and cultural appreciation. Students strengthened their language, math, and problem-solving skills, and our community came together to honor the special people in our students' lives during our annual Mother's Day Breakfast and a heartfelt Teacher Appreciation Day.
