Welcome to our final week of Summer Camp: Camp Carnival! This week, we learned about carnivals and circuses, exploring carnival games like ring toss and bowling, as well as classic rides such as the Ferris Wheel and carousel. We crafted our own clowns, paper carousels, popcorn buckets, and German wheels, and celebrated the end of camp with friendship bracelets and summer crowns. For our cooking activity, we made refreshing lemonade ice pops to take home and enjoy.

Welcome to "Art and Imagination" week! This week, we learned about famous artists, including Henri Matisse, Vincent van Gogh, Wu Guanzhong, and Piet Mondrian, and explored different art techniques, materials, and styles. We got our hands messy with colorful puffy paint, designed a collaborative classroom mural, and experimented with abstract expressionism. For our cooking activity, we made our own wraps with chicken, cheese, spinach, and kidney beans.

This week, we learned about famous inventions and expanded our creativity and problem-solving skills through crafts like pendulum paintings, umbrellas, catapults, collages, and mazes. We also explored how ornaments can be made using natural materials like mugwort and paper, blending them into a pulp and molding it into shapes. For our cooking activity, we made sandwiches with ham, lettuce, cheese, and tomato to take home and enjoy.
