Tiger Cub Immersion School Welcomes the Year of the Snake

Published on 1/28/2025

Our school buzzed with festive energy as we welcomed the Lunar New Year with an unforgettable celebration that brought our entire school community together. Every year, we welcome families to join us in the school for a myriad of fun activities. This year’s events included making dumplings, crafting paper lanterns, and decorating fortune bags. The creative spirit of our students shone brightly as they worked hard on making the most beautiful dumplings, lanterns, and fortune bags that they could; their joy was matched only by the pride of their parents as they worked together side-by-side, learning and celebrating Chinese culture through these hands-on experiences. As tradition dictates, the festivities concluded with teachers presenting each child with a red envelope, carrying forward the time-honored symbol of good fortune and blessings.

We are deeply grateful to our wonderful school community for embracing this celebration with such enthusiasm and warmth. As we step into the Year of the Snake, may your homes be filled with prosperity, joy, and countless moments of happiness!
