On the eve of Chinese New Year, we hosted a vibrant and joyous festival-style celebration at our school, bringing together students, parents, and staff for a memorable cultural experience. The classroom was filled with excitement as our families participated in a range of engaging activities that highlighted the richness of Chinese traditions. One of the highlights of the event was the "包饺子" (Dumpling Making) activity, where families came together to learn the art of making this traditional food. Children and parents alike also tested their wit in the "猜谜" (Riddle Guessing) challenge, as well as tried their hand at the classic game of "套圈" (Ring Toss). In addition to these activities, we also provided an opportunity for creativity with the "做手工" (Craft Making) station.
At the conclusion of the event, each child received a red envelope from the teachers, a token of appreciation and a symbol of good luck and prosperity. The children left the school with smiles on their faces, ready to start a brand-new year of learning and growth.
We would like to thank all the families for their active participation and shared enthusiasm in helping us to make this event as special as it truly was. We wish everyone a joyous and prosperous Year of the Dragon!
