Welcome back to our final week of summer camp, where we stepped into the magical world of "Fairy Tale Fantasy: Traditional Stories, Folklores, and Mythologies!"
Throughout the week, we journeyed through classic and modern tales such as "Little Red Riding Hood," "The Three Billy Goats Gruff," "The Three Little Pigs," "The Gingerbread Man," "The Tortoise and the Hare," "Frozen," "Mulan," and "My Neighbor Totoro." These stories sparked our imaginations as we created three-dimensional castles, pig masks, and prince and princess puppets.
We also enjoyed acting out and retelling "The Three Billy Goats Gruff" and "The Three Little Pigs," bringing the stories to life with our own voices and creativity. We practiced tracing and writing words from our tales, such as "goat," "troll," "bridge," and "pig," connecting our storytelling adventures with early writing skills.
For our cooking activity this week, we mixed up a refreshing summer treat: homemade lemonade made with just lemons, sugar, and water.
Outdoors, we had a blast running around, playing with bouncy balls, and rearranging the obstacle course one last time.
We are truly grateful to our families for joining us on this summer's adventure. Thank you for being part of TCIS Summer Camp 2025!
