I currently hold Child Development Associate certification, Chinese Language Teaching Certification, and am an examiner for the HSK Chinese Language Proficiency exam. I have taught over 10 years at Huaxia Chinese School and have received the Outstanding Teacher award many times during my time there. I have a deep understanding of a variety of Chinese textbooks, and I have years of experience in teaching with various curricula, some of which we now use in the TCIS After School program. My favorite method of teaching is to use interactive activities to help my lessons to come alive to make otherwise challenging material more approachable and fun for my students. I love working with young children and always strive to foster their healthy development and promote a love for learning!
